Emergency treatment for pain complaints

Do you have a throbbing toothache that keeps you awake? A swollen cheek? Or have you had an accident and a tooth was knocked out or broken off? Pain complaints can really hinder your day. At Mondzorg Koningstraat we reserve time in our agenda for emergencies, so that we can help you get rid of the worst pain as quickly as possible, preferably the same day.

Call us as early as possible (070-2250449)

In case of emergency or acute pain complaints, our advice is: call us immediately at 8:30 am when the practice opens. The sooner you call, the greater the chance that we can see you the same day. Do you have unbearable pain at the weekend or in the evening? Please contact the central emergency service on 0900-1515.

What do we do during emergency treatment?

The primary goal of emergency treatment is pain relief and prevention of further damage. We take an X-ray, make the diagnosis and resolve the pain complaint. This can be done by cleaning the nerve, opening the tooth or prescribing medication. Sometimes we then schedule a follow-up appointment for the final treatment (such as a complete root canal treatment).
